Just another blog about music, comics and stuff I like. Hopefully you're like minded and will love what's posted and invite folks in for the fun! If you're going to order from amazon, just click on our banners and order. It'll help us out and you get what you want!
I know I'm late, but I like to listen to these things before I post them. I'm just that guy I guess. So now I'm getting through it and I must say that I like K.R.I.T.'s state of mind and his style and his rhymes. Just good all around. A little change of pace of what a lot of Southern music I've been hearing. I guess only in Mississippi got something in the water to make special rappers like this guy. But, before I ramble on, listen to ReturnOf4Eva and make your own convictions.
I just heard about this. This is pretty great. I heard on the radio from The Alan Cox Show: "[If you can't get laid at a Sade concert.....]", then he went on to something along the lines that you can't get laid at all or something rather. Either way, these are two great names, and I'm sure you'll want to see it. Below is where you can view some tickets for the show in Quicken Loan Arena and links to other shows and tickets.
So, since I've been addicted to Sailing Soul(s) these past few weeks, I'm gonna hope on anything she's a part of. I haven't been disappointed yet. Good stuff!!!
And to narrow that down, what’s one main message you want people to tune into? Definitely the whole “sailing souls” thing. A lot of people are still confused about what that means, and it just means to stay true to yourself and go with what you feel. Feeling are really the only thing that is real. I kinda want to convey the message to just be yourself. Don’t ever lose yourself for whatever reason—because you want to make more money, because you want to be prettier or whatever. I’m not a slave to anyone; I’m sailing my soul instead of selling it.
This is for Black Hippie's project to drop next month called LongTerm: Mentality. This is just a good song. Worth the space on the good ol' hard drive.
"...hand down my pants - now she rocking Sean John". The debut from one of the G.O.O.D. Music recruits. Good stuff in my book. Enjoy! side note: I wish TI$A stuff wasn't so darn expensive. Sheesh
Everyone who's a Rozay fan should recognize this song. I mean, it's been made already. And on a record no less. Either way, I kind of like it so here it is!
What luck we have with getting two Johns in one day. And the both sing! This guy may look like Robin Thicke, but the voice...not so much. Great though. For more about him go look at the place I lifted the file from, here
This mans rhymes and word play is crazy!!!! Fear Of God is available now. And please thank Karen Civil for being awesome!!! Oh, the video doesn't have the beat, but the audio below does!
HOLY CRAP!!!! This is just good stuff. P came so hard on this and it's also just well put together. Not 50 tracks deep and full of un-needed features. I'm still getting through it but y'all will find your favorite tracks soon enough. ENJOY!!!
Not for the squeamish. I can tell you that I've been watching these for two days. I couldn't tell you why I find this fascinating though. They're are a lot more on youtube, but I think this is the best one. Enjoy!
Mark Bagley's back on the art in Ult. Spidey and the story line is still good as ever. Be sure to pic up the comic March 23rd from your local comic shop...or Amazon...or any of the legal ways to do so to support Marvel Comics and the people that worked on the book.
This is such a great duet. Even though this is just a song for the radio/ single and not on the album (yet), I'm gonna bet that The Lady Killeris a great buy. The original song featured Phillip Baily of Earth Wind & Fire, which is also great. This is a great song, so listen up and enjoy!
This has been one of my favorite months of music ever. I mean March 2011 has been epic, just look at the last few post! Who knew Leslie had bars? Anyway, this is a very good record. A+ in my book!
Based gOD is a surprisingly good freestyler. Yelawolf got bars. Kendrick is just mean with it. Cyhi just knows what to do with a mic. All good! I would have posted the first one if it was good...
Y'all remember that Drake song leaked about a year ago called JULY with that girl no one (at least not me) knew about. Well, she's bringing some heat with a very good RnB album of her own. I'm listening right now and I think it's pretty good stuff, besides the features, which include the likes of Drake and Kanye West. So sit back and enjoy. (Not bad to look at either)
Download x Tracklist after the jump! UPDATE: STREAM
*Oh, and if ever a iTunes or Amazon link comes up where you can buy it I'll be posting that with the quickness!
50 and Pusha snapped on this song. This Neptune production is just so slick (as always). All good votes coming from me. This my favorite leak so far and that's saying a lot. Fear Of God dropping next week!
The Nashville native brings of up fire with this tape. Has some catchy tracks too. Overall pretty good. I'm wondering why, now looking at this years XXL Freshmen list for this year, why he wasn't on it. He's done as much if not more then some members of the list...I don't know. Just enjoy some good tunes
This is one of the Freshmen from this years edition of XXL MAG showcase of the new talent that's been making noise. This is his 2nd single for the Returnof4Evaalbum out 3/22
I was going through this drought for a few years because 50 Cent music wasn't as appealing to me as it used to be. That's all changed now. I've been listening to tracks lately and I'm really come to like him all over again. This will be the first track of many that I will be posting. Visit The Dope House for a whole lot more from Curtis!
“Celebrated creative mind Alex Haldi has collaborated with some of music’s biggest stars including Jay-Z, Rihanna, Big Boi, Wu-Tang, Ludacris, J. Cole & LL Cool J, and is putting the finishing touches on his own solo art event May 12, 2011 in NYC at World Monuments Fund Gallery. Portions of work sold will be going to charity.
A promotional mixtape is to be released in the next month which will include a series of original music, mash-up remixes, and classic covers by a number of different acts that are all linked thematically with ‘Crime’. Cole, Kris Kasanova, Voli, Andrew Maury (Ra Ra Riot producer and RAC), Jon Connor, Elite, Ritz, Lyn Charles, Loyal Divide, Neitherfriends, and many more. The do download will be free, with a link to donate money to our charity.
The Fly Guys are a rap group out of LA and they are deadly serious about it. They have mixtapes and do shows and all that. As an added bonus they are funny as f*** and give us a show to watch about their journey that may be or not be 100% accurate. This is the last episode of their current season. In this episode it's a dance off and a track they made about the subject of the episode. Enjoy
Visit The Fly Guys for their blog and other info about them. And visit their YOU TUBE page for past episodes
This is not finished. Still more features to be added, so I'm guess this leaked early as f***. Kanye and Jay are supposed to make an appearance since they aren't on it....Oops...did I give that away too soon?
Best day of my f***in' life! I'm really glad this came out. This on of my favorite acts coming out the West Coast. So if you like ride music, hype records, good raps and great production then this is for you! I mean, look at thecover art! This is more than enough reason to check them out if you've never heard of them.
Downloadx Tracklist x Stream after the jump! Thanks Pacific Division for dropping this.
Soooo....NEW RAPPER ALERT!!!!! Of course I don't know how long these guys have been doing this, but their new to me. I really, really like this song. Great stuff. It's from the Zion Crew's album Heroes In The Healing of a Nation which is available for pre-order HERE
This is largely like the song as it's mostly the beat and vocals in the background. It's one verse offered from Pusha with the Lost Poets ending the record like on My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Not bad, but not mind blowing like "MY GOD". Fear Of God coming soon.
SMOOTH. I love when Ohio people can get stuff done. This makes me very optimistic of my states rap scene. The production is so high and not as raw as what I'm used to in local music. Well, y'all listen to it and tell Stalley and leave comments with what you think.
