"Living being in a mob. What's a mob to a king? What's a king to a god? What's a God to a nonbeliever, who don't believe in anything?" - Frank Ocean. Let's play a game. Spot the Jay or Ye.
The collective has just been releasing songs every few days, and these are from last week. I missed it, but better late than never. Last weeks songs were great too!
K.R.I.T.'s album Live From The Underground is currently being streamed in it's entirety on NPR. Album drops next week on the 5th.. Before you head over to NPR, here are some tracks from the album...if you don't care about listening to albums all the way through.
Cruel Summer! Moreover, the short film of the same name is about a Lamborghini car thief falls for a beautiful blind Arabic girl who's father will let them marry if he can help her see. It's already at the Cannes film festival
So this is the full line up of Cocaine 80s: Common, James Fauntleroy, No I.D. and Makeba Riddick drop a new record titled “This Cant Be A Crime.” Good stuff, like always. After the jump, check out the other two songs they put out the last few days. I didn't catch that at first, so it wasn't in the original post. Now it is!
This was very pleasing to watch. I pretty much loved Tron: Legacy (I tried to watch Tron...I couldn't do it. Too old), so I knew I would get into this. Follow Beck into the Grid!
Disney XD is now streaming a full, 31-minute installment of TRON: Uprising in advance of the CG animated series’ June 7 debut, enticing fans to return to the Steven Lisberger-created digital realm known as The Grid, as seen in the films TRON and TRON: Legacy. Entitled “Beck’s Beginning,” the installment quickly establishes the show’s place in greater TRON-tinuity while introducing new protagonist Beck, a young program seeking justice against the forces of the evil program Clu 2 on behalf of a fallen friend and his recently conquered digital city. Featuring a story by TRON: Legacy screenwriters Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz, with character designs and storyboards by comic book artists Robert Valley and Eric Canete, and music by Daft Punk collaborator Joseph Trapanese, the new show should fall right into the comfort zone of longstanding franchise fans and superhero genre aficionados alike. - ComicsAlliance
As I'm looking for art to post on my tumblr, I go looking for for some art by a mister Alex Maleev. Seeing what he's done, I see and remember reading his and Brian Michael Bendis book Spider-Woman: Agent of S.W.O.R.D. [google is your friend] way back in 2009. I really liked it. The selling point was explosive, eye-popping art of Mr. Maleev. Furthermore, my memory was also jogged when I seen that the comic was made into a motion picture! So, you guys are in luck. You don't have to buy the comic [unless you want to], you can just sit back and watch Jessica Drew hunt down some aliens.
VH1 premiered this last night, and I had to miss it because I really don't like watching TV anymore and because of finals week. I do, however, plan to watch this Snoop Dogg narrated documentary when this week is done. Enjoy, folks. Learn stuff!
The first single for Mr. Chainz T.R.U. Story, do to release this summer. First that Mercyverse, now a single? Man. It's been a big first quarter for for 2 Chainz.
Highlighting the fact that White folks can't dance, Kate Upton demonstrates her "Cat Daddy". But you know what? No one cares? She's amazingly beautiful and it's all for fun. Enjoy
