I say mixtape, but it's really an album. Y'all know the deal, and for those who don't, get introduced to The Weeknd. The project features a Michael Jackson's Dirty Diana cover and production from Claims Casino. So far, this may be the best in the trilogy. Kay Cola - Love & Music [Mixtape]

I'm, like super late on this because of school work [sucks]. But, since I like to listen to these things before I post them it was necessary. I like it. This singer/song writer's voice is so smooth over these records that guys like Roosevelt is crafting for these new West coast indy acts. All of the rapping is pretty solid too. Hope y'all like it. Kanye West - Welcome To Kanye's Soul Mix Show [Mixtape]

Okay, I'm super late. This was made in 2006 for a Japanese record label with Kanye hosting it (it's official) and DJ A-Trak mixing up the records. The records are samples Kanye used in producing some big songs for Common, Jay-Z, Twista and himself. It's just a lot of good tunes I'm sure G.O.O.D. music fans should enjoy. The-Dream, if you follow him on twitter you'll see why he's releasing it under his real name. I think because of contract things with Def Jam...idk. 1977 is incredible though. Finally! I waited an hour to dl this. Abel and OvO XO don't disappoint either. And really, I thought it would just drop later today, but it came out of no where just like House Of Balloons with some of that goading by Drake. Speaking of Drizzy, he appears on the album (which is what it really is) also. Seems like a fan favorite too. It's a bit different to it's predecessor, House of Balloons, in it's feel, it's slightly different. A new story. Which is alright because you still get that drug induced, Weeknd, party, love gain/love lossed, sex music we all love from him. Enjoy! UPDATE: Stream after the jump!

Here's a mixtape presented by DJ Breakem Off & DJ Wally Sparks full of unreleased songs that may have been glossed over in the last year. Not bad songs. It has some solid production by K.R.I.T. himself, 9th Wonder, DJ Khalil, and DJ Burn One (although they aren't in any credits, you'll see). K.R.I.T. is on almost the song and have some great features from Bun B, Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, Big Sant, CyHi The Prynce, and many more.

A little change of pace of what a lot of Southern music I've been hearing. I guess only in Mississippi got something in the water to make special rappers like this guy. Dee Goodz - Floetic Justice Vol. 2: B.O.T.H. [Mixtape]

The Nashville native brings of up fire with this tape. Has some catchy tracks too. Overall pretty good. I'm wondering why, now looking at this years XXL Freshmen list for this year, why he wasn't on it. He's done as much if not more then some members of the list...I don't know.
